Daru Car is now BMW Daru Car

The company DARU CAR EAD was founded in the summer of 1992 and began its activity as an official importer of BMW AG for Bulgaria. In the beginning, the company focused on the sale of passenger cars, and in the first year, the beginning of the car repair service was also laid. The service base and spare parts warehouse are gradually expanding.

In the summer of 1994, the auto repair shop opened its doors, equipped according to all the requirements of BMW AG. In the autumn of 1994, as a result of the purchase of the Rover Group by BMW AG, DARU CAR EAD became the official importer of the Rover and Land Rover brands for Bulgaria. In the same year, the specialized service opened its doors.

In the autumn of 1995, together with the Rover Group, the production of the Maestro model began in the city of Varna. In the first months, sales were encouraging and reached about 100 cars per month. Unfortunately, the then economic situation in the country did not allow for the development of the project. In the following years, the country faces an economic crisis, the management of the company makes every effort to maintain its position in the market.

Daru Car participates in the major car shows in the country and regularly presents the new models from the BMW, MG Rover and Land Rover brands to Bulgarian customers. In parallel with this, the main efforts are directed towards the expansion of the dealer network in the country. Contracts have been concluded with partners in Pleven, Burgas, Stara Zagora, Plovdiv and Varna. Completely new complexes are opening their doors in Pleven and Burgas.

After the reorganizations that took place in the automotive industry in an international aspect, namely the sale of the Rover Group by the BMW Group, as well as the reorganization of the dealer networks by many manufacturers within the EU, DARU CAR EAD is currently the official partner of the local office of the BMW Group in Bulgaria and an official Porsche car repair center. The company offers the sale of premium cars available in the showroom or delivery to order, the purchase of used cars, assistance with financing and car insurance, warranty service for BMW cars, as well as a specialist service for MINI, and has one of the largest car repair centers in Bulgaria.
